Prachup is famous for its amazing attraction and activities, including its scenery and beaches. The beaches here are spotless white sand and they are still pretty clean. It is a preferred destination if you want to avoid other tourists and the crowd. You can find many stuff to do here and you will definitely find one that suits you such as sunbathing, snorkelling, swimming, golf, spas, caves, peaks, waterfalls, shops, seafood, and national parks. To get to Prachuapkirikhan

The distance from Bangkok is approximately 300 kilometers in which there are many ways for you to come here. If you want to enjoy the scenery before reaching here, I highly recommend taking a train. You can get on the train at Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok, but be sure to go there quickly to book the tickets. Alternatively, you can take the bus or minibus from the Southern Bus Terminal which is an inexpensive and convenient way to come here. If you fancy driving, you can also drive here which would take you around three hours and a half. After you arrived, you can enjoy many things that Prachuap is offering to you.

The first place on the list is Phraya Nakhon Cave. It was built in the year 1890 and it used to be where the King or Queen stays when he or she visits here. A unique aspect of this place is the light that shines upon the Buddha statue. It creates a beautiful picture that really shows how amazing the nature really is. The recommended time for the best lighting is around 10:30 to 11:30 am.

 

Hua Hin

One of the first destination that comes into mind of Thais for a holiday in Thailand is here in this province and it is called Hua Hin. Hua Hin is one of the oldest destinations for holidays in Thailand with many hotels and beachfront resorts. Most of the places in Hua Hin have a long history and you can really see how old it is from the structure and details in each of the places.

One example of an old structure is the Hua Hin Railway Station. It was built in the year 1926 with Queen Victoria’s architectural style entirely with wood which in fact, it is the most beautiful railway station here in Thailand. You can take the train from this station to go back to Bangkok and it is highly recommended to take pictures with the station’s sign and label as it is one of the most iconic places here in Thailand.

 

Ko Talu

Next is Ko Talu in which the name comes from the giant hole that connects the two sides of the island. The beach is sparkling white and the water is crystal clear. It is also a great place for diving too! You can see many coral reefs and beautiful fishes here. If you want to stay at the island, there is only one resort available.

This is a temple on mountain that contains the beautiful nine peaks Maha Chedi. It is truly a masterpiece in both its interior and exterior with highly detailed. It was built during the reign of King Rama IX to celebrate his 50th birthday which is one of the reasons why many tourists come to this temple.

Another highlight of the Chedi is the path the leads up to the top of the Chedi, the path consists of a big Indian style Buddha statue that is facing the sea. Once you are up top, you can watch the amazing views of Ban Krud Beach.

If you want to get some sceneries and experience some adventures, Ao Manao is the place to be. You can enjoy some peaceful time on the beach and be impressed by the scenery there.

 

Khao Lom Muak

You can go hiking up the mountain called Khao Lom Muak which is more than 900-foot-tall for some sightseeing of the beach, sea, and sunset. It is recommended that you wear a sneaker for your safety as the terrain up there is quite sharp. It is only open on festival’s holidays, so be sure to check its availability before you come. Do not ever forget taking pictures while you are there!

 

Fung Daeng or Red Cliff Beach

Next stop is Fung Daeng or Red Cliff Beach, it is a beach where the sand is red, and it contains a natural red cliff with 20 to 30 meters of height. The distance of this cliff is more than five kilometers and the cliff has been here for more than 100,000 years. The beach is quiet and peaceful which is also suitable for experiencing the nature.

It is best to try and bring back some pineapples and coconut. Pineapples are sweet, and it smells phenomenal. You can also find processed pineapple products like cheese bread with pineapple filling that is both salty and sweet.

You can get around town by using many of the transportation available to you. There are motorbikes, minibuses, motorbike taxis, tuktuks, and bicycle for you to choose. If you want to travel to the nearby islands here, you can hire a boat to take you there as well. Be sure to bring back as many memories as possible while you are enjoying your time here!
