Bars in Bangkok in 2018 you must not miss!
Which bars in Bangkok to go today? Some might say sukhumvit area or Ratchada area which we think yeah it’s ok but not that cool. Soi Nana Chinatown is recently known as one of the most popular nightlife spots in Bangkok. It’s the best place for perfect bar hopping ideas with wide range of amazing cuisines, cool drinks, interesting art galleries and many more packed in one small soi (alley). Just a short distance from MRT Hualamphong station.
NOTE this is not the NANA in Sukhumvit, this one is in Chinatown area.
Bar#1?Teens of Thailand (TOT)?
An art-oriented, gin-focused bar pops up on the fringes of Chinatown. This converted shophouse specialises in uniquely spiced gin cocktails that earned it a title as one of Asia?s 50 Best Bars in 2016?
Located right next to Nahim Cafe x Handcraft, the bar hides behind an ominous Indian-style door. Inside is a small, dimly-lit room like something Wong Kar Wai might conjure up. Much of the shop-house’s original architecture remains, with vintage Thai furniture scattered around the place, encouraging interaction moreso than sticking to your seat.
The team behind Teens of Thailand features a who’s who of the local art and nightlife scene, including the co-founder of Ari drinking gem Barka and mixologist Niks Anuman-Rajadhon (owner of Drink Academy), with a little help from Note Dudesweet, veteran photographer Kachain Wonglamthong, and the late Squeeze Animal guitarist Singha Musikapong.
